Haii....Everyone all meet again on my blog. I will explain Procedure Text Part 1 along with an example. Lets see together.🙋🙋🙋
🎋 Definition of Procedure Text : 🎋
Procedure text is a type of text that contains goals and steps to make or do something related to that goal.
📯 Purpose of Procedure Text : 📯
1. To find out how to create, operate or perform certain activities through steps.
2. To describe instructions or steps to make, operate or do something.
🎠 Social Functions of Procedure Text : 🎠
The function of this text is to show how to do something through successive steps so that the reader can achieve the goal.
🐮 Language Future Procedure Text : 🐮
1. Using the simple present tense
2. Using imperative sentences (command sentences).
Example: add two spoons, cook on low heat, grind the spices, etc.
3. Use action verbs.
Example: add, drop, rotate.
4. Use numbering.
Example: first, second, third.
5. Use conjunctions (connective words).
Example: next, then, while.
6. Using adverbs (adverbs) to clarify the trajectory traversed.
Example: right, carefully, slowly, for 2 minutes, etc.
🍀 Types of Procedure Text : 🍀
1. The first type is the one that explains how to use something works, or instructs how to operate something.
Example : how to use a rice cooker (how to use a ricecooker), how to use a washing machine (how to use a washing machine).
2. The second type is that which aims to provide instructions on how to make perform certain activities.
Example : how to make fried rice (how to make fried rice), how to play chess (how to play chess).
3. The third type is How to do
How to do is Inform or instruct the readers to do something.
The purpose is to tell the reader how to do something. The information is presented in logical sequence of events that are broken into steps.
Example : step of activities, tips or tricks, treatments, etc.
💎 Structure Procedure Text : 💎
1. Goal/Aim : contains the intent and purpose of the related procedure text.
2. Materials / Ingredients : contains the materials needed to perform the steps of a procedure text.
3. Steps : a list of sequential steps to complete the procedure text stages.
4. Results : the results of the steps that have been taken.
🍕 Example Procedure Text : 🍕
How To Make Pizza
○ Aim :
Pizza is a typical Italian dish that is very well known throughout the world, and Indonesia is no exception. As you know, the creation of pizza is carried out by placing the ingredients on a flat round bread and then baking it in the oven until it is cooked.
Well, the question is if you don't have an oven, can you make pizza without your own oven at home? But stick with the flavors created in restaurants. Please pay attention to the steps below and what materials are used.
○ Ingredients :
1/2 kg Medium protein flour.
5 grams of fermipan.
3 tbsp vegetable oil.
1/2 tsp salt.
2 tbsp sugar.
250 ml Water.
○ Ingredients (Toppings):
Mozzarella Cheese.
Tomato Sauce.
Finely sliced onion.
Your favorite toppings can be meatballs, sausages, shredded chicken, tuna, smoked meats, etc.
○ Steps :
1. Combine the flour, yeast, sugar, salt and vegetable oil until combined.
2. Add not much water, little by little accompanied by knead or stir to form a dough.
3. Rest the dough in a container on a cloth block so that the dough is elastic.
4. Saute onions until fragrant, add your choice of toppings into the stir fry.
5. Pour tomato sauce and chili sauce according to taste.
6. Roll out or roll out the rested dough as needed to the thickness according to taste. Make it thinner if you are a lover of crunchy food. And cook, wait until cooked, so that it is ready to be served.

1) First, you will read silently to understand the procedure texts below. Make sure that you know the meaning of every word. If you find some words that you do not understand their meaning yet. Then, consult the dictionary.

Step :
1. First of all, press the locking catch
and slide the cover then lift it off the phone.
2. After that, push two catches in the
opposite directions and remove the battery.
3. Next, slide the SIM card carefully into the slot and make sure that the golden connect arson are facing to the connector of the phone.
4. Then, put the battery and align it until snaps into its place.
5. Finally, insert the two catches of the back cover corresponding slot in the phone and slide the cover forward button of the phone until locks into place

Step :
1. First, rinse a cup of rice in cold water. Rub the rice softly under the running water. Do not rub the rice too long, because it will lose the nutrients. Wash the rice once again. Then drain the water from the rice.
2. Next, add a cup of water. If you cook rice using an electronic rice cooker, pay attention to the water ratio. The rice and the water ratio is usually 1 part rice to 1 part water.
3. Then, place the cooking pot in the rice cooker properly. Cover the pot. Select the cooking button right after the light on the rice cook cook turns.
4. Finally, when the rice has been cooked and is resilent , flip through the rice very gently using a rice spatula

" How to Use Glue Gun "
1. First, check and clean the glue gun from any old glue clogging in the nozzle.
2. Second, put the glue stick into the gun nozzle.
3. Third, insert the plug into the electricity socket.
4. Fourth, prepare a sheet of paper and put the glue gun on it.
5. Fifth, wait until the gun get warmer.
6. Sixth, squeeze the trigger gently to check if the glue stick has changed into liquid form.
7. Finaly, you can apply it on any surface that you want to stick by using this glue gun.
